Fireproof Doors

  1. Usage: These doors are intended for indoor use in temperatures from +10 to +28 °C and humidity of 40-60%.
  2. Storage and transportation: The doors should be stored in spaces with temperatures no lower than +10°C and humidity not exceeding 60%; avoid mechanical damage, dirt, moisture, keep away from precipitation and direct sunlight.
  3. Installation: When installing the doors, do not allow any moisture to enter the fireproof seal in the door frame, moulding and glazing (along the perimeter of the glass).
  4. Cleaning: The door has been finished with a water-based coating, therefore we recommend to clean it using a soft, damp cloth, using a 25% washing liquid that does not contain any chemicals or solvents.
  5. Refurbishing: When refurbishing the leaf and the frame of the door, do not use any flammable varnishes or paints.
  6. Repairs: Before conducting any repairs to the premises or to the door construction, we recommend that you consult the door manufacturing specialists at Reaton.
  7. Warranty: The manufacturer guarantees 30-minute fire-resistance for the doors provided that the instructions regarding the storage, transportation, installation, operation and maintenance instructions have been followed.

Fireproof Wooden Doors For residential, public and administrative buildings and manufacturing spaces

Assembly Instruction

  1. The assembly of the doors must be carried out in a room with a clean floor, primed walls and painted ceilings or after a room is completely finished in accordance with the existing fire safety and construction regulations.
  2. The door frame should be secured using wood screws and fastening components should be distributd evenly along the jamb of the doorframe (no more than 600 mm apart).
  3. The gap between the door frame and the wall may not exceed 20 mm; this should be filled with fire-resistant material (such as the Soudafoam FR sealing foam), which ensures the required degree of fire resistance.
  4. The gap between the door leaf and the frame may not exceed 2,5 mm, whereas the gap between the leaf and the sill may not exceed 3,5 mm.
  5. The installation of a door closer should be performed in accordance with the assembly guide provided by the manufacturer of each particular door closer. A correctly installed door closer should ensure the closing of the doors without added effort.
  6. Following the installation of the door handle, check the operation of the lock mechanism; in order to do so, you must ensure that it is running idle.
  7. Before installation, check the completeness and quality of the special and profile seals. When installing seals, make sure that no dirt can enter along the perimeter and at joints, as well as check for any breaks or cracks in the seal.
