Designer doors by Latvian architects

Doors are among those elements of interior design where architects often attempt to come up with new solutions. In spite of these efforts, there are not many doors with unique design in the world today. Because of this, Reaton wanted to create a collection of doors embodying their designers’ personality, creative thought and handcraft. This emotionally-pleasant but technically-complex process went on for several years and was realized in long-term collaboration between the authors of ideas and the manufacturers of doors. To implement the authors’ concepts, we prepared many models, which we then time and time again discarded as unusable… We searched, experimented and found new technological solutions and types of finishing. As a result of our combined work, we have obtained a collection of doors with unique design, valuable experience and new possibilities. We are now confident that there are no limits to the growth of creative thought – our accomplishments are only a prelude to what’s yet to come. B. Gluhmans |
